ATIC Public Meeting on Telehealth and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

The
3rd Annual ATIC Public Meeting on Telehealth and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) was held in partnership with the
Arizona Telemedicine Program (ATP) and the
Arizona BioIndustry Association (AZBio) on
Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 11:30 AM-2:30 PM at the
T-Health Institute located on the
University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix Campus. We had about 130 attendees onsite and another 20 or so participating remotely. Stellar speakers from industry and government presented on current health information technology efforts in Arizona and beyond with timely telehealth and EMR topics and a focus on sustainable business models. A number of telehealth vendors and related organizations were on hand to demonstrate the latest telehealth and EMR technology and resources along with tours of UA's world class facilities.
