Rural TeleCon '10 Conference
(November 10-12, 2010)
ATIC is pleased to have partnered with the Rural Telecommunications Congress (RTC) in bringing their Rural TeleCon '10 Conference to Mesa, November 10-12, 2010. This highly participatory conference was designed to tap the collective knowledge of national and regional leaders to highlight best practices, identify major challenges, and begin developing innovative solutions to rural broadband deployment. The agenda was set by attendees, using the "unconference" approach to leave them with valuable insights, strong relationships, and a powerful toolkit for getting more broadband and putting it to work as critical infrastructure for rural prosperity. It was a great opportunity to help expedite the deployment of Broadband Internet services in rural communities throughout the United States.
For more information, visit the website at http://www.ruraltelecon.org/pages/RuralTeleCon10.aspx where post conference presentations, session summaries, and related materials will be posted and the conversation continued. Thanks to the RTC for making Rural TeleCon '10 a great opportunity to gather and learn from our rural telecom peers and learn of best practices, technologies, and services. Thanks to the many ATIC Board members and associates who assisted and attended, especially to Steve Peters who acted as conference facilitator and Galen Updike of GITA who was conference program chair and is now the newly elected Rural Telecommunications Congress (RTC) President.
