ATIC Public Meeting on Arizona High-technology Policy Activities
(February 21, 2008)

The ATIC Public Meeting held on Thursday, February 15 focused on all the high-technology policy activities underway in Arizona with a distinguished array of invited speakers moderated by Mike Keeling, Data Site Consortium and ATIC Chair . Our most popular program, now in its fifth year, was held from 2:00-4:00 PM as a free live event and teleconference from the offices of Lewis & Roca in downtown Phoenix with remote audio conferencing courtesy of Cox Business Services.

ATIC & CCEC Announce Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) Debates
(July 15 & September 15, 2008)






















ATIC is pleased to have again produced a series of debates for the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) candidates with support from the Arizona Citizens Clean Elections Commission (CCEC) and other partner organizations. Primary Debates for the three open seats were held on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 for the Democratic candidates in the morning and Republican candidates in the afternoon. A General Election Debate was held on Monday, September 15, 2008 for all Democratic and Republican candidates on the ballot.

The debates covered all issues under the jurisdiction of the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) - Utilities Regulation, Corporations and Securities Oversight, and Railroad and Pipeline Safety. A live audience participated at Rio Salado College in Tempe and attended the Candidate receptions following the debates. Following, the public can access the Webcasts in real-time and on-demand, view the debates on Cox Cable Channel 7 and other cable systems throughout the state, and view individual debate segments on Cox video on demand.
