May 18-19, 2010 - The Arizona Digital Government Summit is a great venue for government and the private sector to discuss the challenges and solutions to the tough issues we face. The 2010 Arizona Digital Government Summit will be an opportunity to work together to improve service to our citizens. The purpose of this event is to foster discussion and dialogue on the use of information technology as a strategic tool for managers, executives and policy makers. There is no charge for government employees, but the Summit is not open to private-sector registrations. Wednesday, May 26 - Register today for the Greater Arizona eLearning (GAZeL) statewide eLearning Educational and Networking Event, Training Applications Using Internet-Based Voice Recognition. The speaker will be Henry Ryng, founder and president of inXsol, a Phoenix-based simulation and e-learning development company. They are developing two training applications that use Internet-based voice recognition as part of NSF and NIH grants. This approach increases accessibility for users and creates a training environment that more closely emulates the actual environment. There will also be time for networking. ATIC Board Meetings are devoted to telecommunications policy engagement and driving economic development for the State of Arizona by our broad public/private coalition. The next ATIC Board Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 14, 2010 from Noon-2PM at The Carnegie Center at 1101 W. Washington St., Phoenix, AZ 85007 or remote via audioconference. Additional Board Meetings are scheduled for September 8, October 13, and November 10, 2010 at the same time and place.
